Lame Basement is virtual concert venue, providing local St Louis
area band and musicians to perform to the world via the Internet.

The only audience will be from around the globe. This site offers comic
strips, audio & video archives, musician's finder, auction, web cast, chat
room and some really cool Lame Basement stuff. Brutal Poodle is not
just another mascot, but is the host of Lame Basement, the web site.

HISTORY AND GOAL

The property known as Lame Basement was purchased by its current owners in 1990.
Lame Basement was transformed from a two family dog kennel into a haven for which
artist can develope their creative expressions. Sometimes on a hot & humid summers day
aromatic oders of the past residents comes wafting through the air as a not so
refreshening reminder of where we started. As for as the name, Lame Basement, came
out of a argument, I mean discussion about what to name a newly formed band. The
Lame Basement Band was borned. So when asked "Where are you from?", we'd
answered, "Lame Basement". And thus, Lame Basement was christened. The space and
its equipment are updated on an irregular basis to insure a low tech enviroment
guaranteed to inspire artistic and creative development. Our current goal is to sell the
idea and name to corporate sponsership and become philthy rich.
